Our vision is for the Department of international economic relations at the Libyan Academy to be a leading model for all those who seek intellectual knowledge in the academic community focused on the development of scientific capabilities in the field of international economic relations.

The mission of the department is to prepare scientifically and theoretically qualified graduates commensurate with the needs of the local community and the region, armed with knowledge in the field of international economic relations. the department is also keen to accomplish advanced scientific and academic research, and the department is working hard to develop its curricula and study programs in order to develop intellectual and scientific skills.

The aim of the department is to provide our students with the necessary scientific knowledge and skills and to analyze the most prominent international, regional and Arab contemporary economic issues such as developments in the field of globalization, neoliberal economic and the New World Trade System, developments in the field of the growing role of multinational companies and foreign direct investments, international economic policies, developments in the world economy and the Arab economy, and the global trend towards building global economic blocs.
